Manipulating videos and images

Sending videos and still images by e-mail

You can start your e-mail software, attach videos and still images to e-mail and send them via e-mail.

  1. In the main window, select the videos and still images you want to attach to your e-mail message.

  2. Click icon at the top of the window.
    Or, select [E-mail Media Images] in the [Manipulate] menu.
    The [E-mail Media Images] window is displayed.
  3. Setting videos and still images
    Change the size and format type of the video and still image to attach to your email message. The size and format of the original file is not changed.

    Still image
    [JPEG Small(320x320)] The still image is resized to no larger than 320 x 320 pixels.
    [JPEG Medium(640x640)] The still image is resized to no larger than 640 x 640 pixels.
    [JPEG Large(1280x1280)] The still image is resized to no larger than 1,280 x 1,280 pixels.
    [User Settings(JPEG Format)] The still image is sized according to the options set in [Advanced Settings]. In [Advanced Settings], you can input the change size directly, or specify the ratio for an original image. You can also change the image quality level when compressing the image.

    Video
    [Do Not Convert] The video is attached to e-mail as the recorded format.
    [WMV Standard Quality] The video is converted into the standard quality of WMV format.
    [WMV Low Quality] The video is converted into the low quality of WMV format.
    [WMV Maximum Total Size 5 MB] The total size of attached videos is 5 MB at maximum.

    Hint

    • WMV format is a type of data compression method for video files. WMV is higher in its compression rate than any other format and achieves a very small file size. It is suited for network sharing.

  4. Click [OK].
    The video/still image is attached to your e-mail message.

  • MAPI must be enabled in your e-mail software for this feature to work.
    Refer to the user manual or help files of your e-mail software for more information about MAPI.
