Additional settings

You can perform general settings in the settings window displayed by selecting the [Tools] menu - [Settings]. You can perform the following settings in the settings window.

[Viewed folders] To view images on your computer, you must register the folders containing the images. Click [Add], select the folder that contains the images you want to browse in the window that appears, then click [Select]. Images in sub-folders contained within registered folders are also viewable.

Note

  • You cannot delete the registration for the folder set as the Location for Imported Images.
[Calendar view] Select the day that you want to set as the first day of the week from the drop-down list. In day view, you can change the settings so that times that do not contain images are not viewed.
[Folders view] You can choose which items to view in the detailed folders view. All items are checked by default. Click to clear the checks from items you do not want to display.
[Media file display] You can set the thumbnail position arrangement to evenly space images. Select the information to display below thumbnails by folder view or calendar view from the drop-down list.
[External programs] You can register or cancel external programs.
[Content analysis] You can select an operation after importing videos and still images.
[Media services] You can register or cancel media services.
[Other] By clicking [Reset] in [Reset hidden messages], you can clear the [Do not show this message again] check boxes from the dialog windows displayed during operation.
Click [Browse] when selecting the [Location for temporary files] and select a folder, and this will change the temporally files location.
In [Location for custom property settings], you can check the save location for data consisting of other than videos and still images, such as label names and date titles.
[Advanced settings] [DirectX Video Acceleration]:Using the GPU that accelerates image processing to reduce the CPU load, you can playback videos with high definition image quality (HD) more smoothly. To use this function, the GPU installed on your computer must be compatible with DXVA2.0.
[Location for temporary files]: You can change the location where temporally files are stored.
