Exporting videos saved on a computer to your camcorder
Changing the settings for exporting videos
You can change the settings for exporting videos by clicking [Settings] on the [Export to Tape] window.
For details on the basic operations of export videos, refer to the “PMB Guide” supplied with the software (“PMB Guide”).
| [Black frames] | Specify the length of the blank parts (black frames) inserted at the beginning and the end of the exported video. |
| [Handycam control] | Set whether to control your camcorder from your computer. Controlling from the computer and automatically recording to tape are set as the default settings. When the check box is cleared, it is necessary to use the computer controls together with your camcorder recording controls. Also, clear the check box if you are using your camcorder's data conversion function to view computer videos on analog devices such as TVs. |
| [Video format] | Set the format for exported videos.
In [Video format], select your TV color system. In [Video Codec], select [HDV 1080i] when the videos are high definition format, and [DV-AVI] when the videos are standard format. |
