Managing GPS log files

Merging GPS log files

You can merge GPS log files when the GPS Unit records a GPS log in separate files.
Follow the steps below to merge two GPS log files.

Note

Once you merge GPS log files, they cannot be restored as separate files.

1	Select a GPS log to be merged from the log file list.
2	Click [Merge Logs] to merge the selected GPS log files.

Note

You cannot merge GPS log files in the following cases.

When the time difference setting is different
When the time is overlapping
When the size of GPS log file merged exceeds 5 MB

Tip

If you power ON/OFF the GPS Unit while a GPS log is being recorded, the GPS log is divided and recorded in separate files.
When you merge the divided GPS log files, a straight line will be used for connecting the positions not recorded during power-OFF state.
