Using the advanced features of Map View

You can start your e-mail software, attach a Map View to an e-mail message and send them via e-mail.

In the main window, select the video or photo you want to attach to your e-mail message.
Click .
The Map View main window is displayed.
- When the selected video or photo does not have recording location information, you can set the location information by clicking the thumbnail.
Click at the lower right of the window, and click [E-mail selected Map View].
- The map file with the selected video or photo is attached to your e-mail message.

MAPI must be enabled in your e-mail software for this feature to work.
Refer to the user manual or help files of your e-mail software for more information about MAPI.

You can export files for displaying videos or photos on Google Earth.

In the main window, select the videos or photos you want to export.
Click .
The Map View main window is displayed.
- When the selected video or photo does not have tracks or recording location information, that file cannot be exported for use with Google Earth. Click the thumbnail and set the location information
Click at the lower right of the window, and click [Output the file for Google Earth].

The folder selection window is displayed.
Select the export destination folder and click [OK].

The file for use with Google Earth is exported.

To view the file exported by clicking - [Output the file for Google Earth], you must have Google Earth installed on your computer.
Depending on the version of Google Earth you are using, exported files may not be displayed properly.
