About GPS Support Tool

GPS Support Tool updates the GPS assistance data saved on your camera automatically when your camera is connected to the computer. By updating GPS assistance data, the time needed for GPS positioning can be reduced.

Using GPS Support Tool

When you connect your camera to the computer, the [GPS assist data will be updated] message is displayed at the bottom right of the desktop, and update of the data starts automatically. By double-clicking the message, you can check the details of the data.

You can also start GPS Support Tool from PMB Launcher. Select [Start] - [All Programs] - [PMB] - [ PMB Launcher] to start PMB Launcher, and then select [GPS], and click [GPS Support Tool].

Note

• If you have not connected your camera to the computer for about a month or longer, the time needed for GPS positioning may not be reduced because the GPS assistance data have not been updated.
