Map View




Can the status of media files displayed in the Map View be saved?
While the media files are being displayed on a map, click at the lower right corner of the screen of the Map View. Select [Save Map View as a new file], the status of the media files being displayed on the map can be saved.

In Map View, can I print out a map with media files displayed?
No, you can't.

The shooting position of the media file is not displayed in the Map View.
The following causes are possibly considered.
  • The Recorded location information is not added on the media file.
  • The computer is not connected to the internet.
  • The version before the Internet Explorer 6.0 is used.

How can I add the location information on the media file?
The location information can be added to the media files if you specify the position on the OnlineMap by using the Map View.

Operate in the following procedures.

  1. Select the media files that you want to add location information to and initiate the Map View.
    Or, first, initiate the Map View, then, drag and drop on the Map View the media file that you want to add location information to.
  2. On the Map View, the message [There are no images with recorded location information in the images selected. Click the image to display the image on the map.] is displayed.
    Click [OK].
  3. In the thumbnails shown on the left of Map View, click the thumbnail of a media file that you want to add location information to.
  4. The message [A picture with no location information is clicked. Proceed to add location information?] is displayed.
    Click [Yes]. The media file is displayed on a map.
  5. Drag the shown on a map and move to any location on the map.
  6. When moving is completed, click at the lower right corner of screen of Map View, and save the image by selecting [Save Map View as a new file].
Using the above procedures, you can add location information to the media file.

Media files cannot be dragged and dropped on the Map View.
Media files can be dragged and dropped only from Picture Motion Browser.
Media files cannot be dragged and dropped from Windows Explorer.
