I have installed Picture Motion Browser in Windows(R) 2000/XP, but the DVD-RW disc (VR mode) is not recognized when inserting it in the computer's drive.
To recognize the AVCHD disc in Windows(R) 2000/XP, Sonic UDF Reader needs to be installed and enabled.
Please first open [My Computer], right-click the icon of the drive where the AVCHD disc is inserted, and check the displayed menu.

If [Use with UDF Reader] is not displayed in the menu

Select [Properties] in the menu, and check if the [UDF Reader] tab appears in the [Properties] window.

- If the [UDF Reader] tab does not appear:

Installation of Sonic UDF Reader may not be completed properly. In this case, please reinstall it.
If you want to install only Sonic UDF Reader from the supplied CD-ROM, please follow the steps below.
  1. Insert the supplied CD-ROM in the computer's drive.
  2. When the installation screen appears, click [Exit] to close the screen.
  3. Right-click the [SONYPICTUTIL] icon in [My Computer], and select [Open] from the displayed menu.

    * If the older version of UDF Reader is installed in your computer, the message to prompt you to uninstall the older version may appear during the installation. In this case, please uninstall it according to the message.
