Position information applied to the image file by GPS Image Tracker is not correct.
Please check the following.
Was the clock setting of the camera correct when shooting the image?
(If not, you can correct it with Picture Motion Browser supplied with your Sony camera.)
Was the time zone correctly set in GPS Image Tracker?
(You can adjust the time zone for images during daylight saving time (summer time) or while traveling abroad.)
Was a GPS log file recorded while shooting?
(Check if the image file has on the media files list.)
Also, position information applied by GPS Image Tracker is not perfectly accurate due to the following reasons.
Position information is estimated by calculation.
Positioning by the GPS itself is not always accurate (especially between tall buildings, etc.)
The message [If you add GPS log information to the media file, the file may not be displayed properly by some devices or programs. Do you want to continue?] appears when saving the image with position information applied.
This message appears when you try to save the image taken with a camera other than Sony digital still cameras, camcorders, or digital SLR cameras.
Is no position information applied the image file that has on the media files list?
If the image file has , the software will apply the position information that has the time data closest to the image file from the GPS log files saved in the computer.
