No, media files imported into the registered folder are not deleted.

To uninstall the PMB (Picture Motion Browser), select [Sony Picture Utility] in the list.

What happens if I install a different version of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) on a computer with PMB (Picture Motion Browser) already installed?
The functions of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) are enhanced by installing a newer version.

Note

When newly installing PMB (Picture Motion Browser), install the newer version after installing the older one. When the computer you are using has a newer version of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) already installed, uninstall that version first, then reinstall both versions, starting with the older one first.
If you install the newer version first, some functions of PMB (Picture Motion Browser) may not operate correctly.

Can I transfer images recorded on the Memory Stick Duo to the computer by inserting in the Memory Stick Slot?
Yes, you can. If you use “Memory Stick PRO Duo,” the Memory Stick slot of your computer needs to be compatible with a “Memory Stick PRO Duo.”

If the Memory Stick slot of your computer is not compatible with a “Memory Stick PRO Duo” or if your computer does not recognize the “Memory Stick Duo” and the “Memory Stick PRO Duo,” connect the camera and the computer using the USB connection cable.

* Please contact the manufacturer of your computer to confirm whether the Memory Stick slot of your computer is compatible with a “Memory Stick PRO Duo” or not.
* If your computer has the Memory Stick slot which is compatible with the Memory Stick, you can use both Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo by using the Memory Stick Duo adaptor.

Yes, you can. Select [Start] - [All Programs] - [Sony Picture Utility] - [Tools] - [Location Settings Tool], then set [Region] and [Country/Area].
