The shooting date and time were changed in the Picture Motion Browser, but it seems that they are not changed in other software.
The information on the shooting date and time is managed in the database unique to the Picture Motion Browser. Therefore, the media files that are not compatible with the Exif information do not reflect the changes of shooting date and time by other software.

When a still image is rotated, does the image quality deteriorate?
When a still image is rotated, Picture Motion Browser only rewrites the orientation information in its Exif data, and it does not affect the image quality. The image is displayed based on this orientation data.

Note:
  • If you edit (adjust brightness, saturation, etc.) an image at the same time as you rotate it, the image quality may deteriorate depending on how it is edited.

  • If you play back an image rotated in Picture Motion Browser on some other software incompatible with Exif, the image may be displayed without rotation.
