Can I use an 8cm disc with the Data Disc Creation function of the Picture Motion Browser?
How can I select files to burn using the Data Disc Creation function of the Picture Motion Browser?
The data disc created using the Picture Motion Browser cannot be played back on a DVD player/recorder that supports JPEG playback.



Can I use an 8cm disc with the Data Disc Creation function of the Picture Motion Browser?
No, you can't. You can only use a 12cm disc.
You can use the following discs.
  • CD-R/RW (12cm)
  • DVD-R/RW (12cm)
  • DVD+R/RW (12cm)
  • DVD-R DL (12cm)
  • DVD+R DL (12cm)

How can I select files to burn using the Data Disc Creation function of the Picture Motion Browser?
  1. To select media files from multiple folders
    1. Select the Folders view.
    2. Select [All Media Files] on the left side.
    3. Select [Folder (By Name)], [Folder (By Date Created)], or [Folder (By Date Modified)] for [Group by:] to display the thumbnails by folder.
    4. Using the scroll bar, display the thumbnails of a folder, and select the files.
      * To select adjacent files, click the first file, then the last file while holding the Shift key. To select files randomly, click each file while holding the Ctrl key down.
    5. Press the [Data Disc Creation] button.
    6. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  2. To select all files
    1. Select the Folders view.
    2. Select [All Media Files] on the left side.
    3. Press the “A” key while holding the Ctrl key down.
    4. Press the [Data Disc Creation] button.
    5. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  3. To select all files from a certain year
    1. Click a year on the Calendar view.
    2. Press the [Data Disc Creation] button.
    3. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  4. To select all files from a certain month
    1. Click on the left side of a year on the Calendar view.
    2. Click a month.
    3. Press the [Data Disc Creation] button.
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

  5. To select all files from a certain day
    1. Select the desired day on the Calendar view.
    2. Select a file.
      * To select adjacent files, click the first file, then the last file while holding the Shift key down. To select files randomly, click each file while holding the Ctrl key down.
    3. Press the [Data Disc Creation] button.
    4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

The data disc created using the Picture Motion Browser cannot be played back on a DVD player/recorder that supports JPEG playback.
Playback may not be possible depending on the device.
If this happens, you may be able to play back the disc if you create it again as follows.
  1. Click [Settings...] on the [Data Disc Creation] screen.
  2. Select [Data disc options] on the left side.
  3. Uncheck [Include on the disc a list of the media files (in HTML format)] and click [OK].
